CAPAC and MITRADEL analyze inspection standards for construction restart

In a productive meeting with Carlos Landero, National Director of Inspection of the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development (MITRADEL), a commission of businessmen members of the Panamanian Chamber of Construction (CAPAC), made up of Jorge Lara, president of the union, analyzed the rules and requirements for the restart of construction activities.

Other topics addressed were the partial entry procedure of workers according to the need of the work, creation of the Health and Hygiene Committee of the companies and notification to MITRADEL of its creation.

The situation of workers who have not joined the works was also discussed, in which case the figure of a suspended contract will be maintained, as established in the decree of May 15, 2020.

A format prepared by MITRADEL will be used as a guide to comply with the safety measures, supervised by the Health and Hygiene Committee of the companies.
